Bidford Tennis Club    3rd September 2009     Dear Members   As we are now in the month of September and as life returns to normal routines,  I have been asked to remind those with outstanding matches to arrange these as soon as is possible.   In particular, we would ask that the Mixed Doubles matches proceed as soon as those of you who have been away on holiday have returned to our wonderful British climate!   In order to further facilitate these matches we are proposing to book one court on Thursday 10th, 17th and 24th September e.g. Social Tennis Evening 7.15 pm onwards to play out these   matches . We will have tokens on hand in case the light begins to fail.    This does not mean that those who prefer to arrange matches at other times cannot do so, but please bear in mind that the Winter League match fixtures are now in place. If you wish to enter any or all of the events, please complete the entry form at the bottom of this letter. Please note the following rules apply §  The closing date for entries will be MONDAY 27TH JULY, 2009 §  No entry will be accepted without the appropriate fee. §  Only paid up members will be eligible. §  Dates for completion of each round will be advised on the draw sheet.  Opponents should make arrangements to play these matches by the due date. §  Remember that in the doubles events, all the names are drawn out of the hat so you do not have to find a partner for yourself.  All abilities are welcome to join in! §  If you are going to be away for long periods during July and August, please try to arrange and complete your matches as soon as possible.
