The Competition Yearbook has been developed to provide up-to-date information on competition taking place in Great Britain during the summer. Having all competition listed online, in one place, means that players can quickly and easily find the information they need. The focus is on competition but there are also features on improving places to play and professionalising the coaching market. It also includes information on how to begin competing so if you have junior members who might want to get involved then let them know. Click here for more information.

The UK’s first National Family Week will be happening from Monday 25 May – Sunday 31 May. This is a great opportunity for you to attract more family members, arrange family based activities and generate more publicity for your club. Why not encourage families to spend more quality time together and engage in a bit of healthy family competition?!
Family Week Picnic
On Monday 25 May there will be an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for having the World’s Largest Picnic at multiple venues across the UK. Clubs could combine this with a tennis taster day or some light-hearted family tennis competitions. Clubs can run their own picnics and use them as a fundraiser or just as a great day out for all the family. As long as there are more than 25 people picnicking it can be counted towards the record-breaking attempt. So pack your picnic and get down to your local club!
Family Week Sports Day
Saturday 30 May is National Family Week’s designated Sports Day where Healthy Families are the theme of the day. Get the whole family participating with ‘The Tennis Generation Game.’ Whether you play tennis with your parents, children, children of friends or other members of your club, it will be a great way for everyone to interact and have fun, whilst learning from each other. You can access competition resources here
